Etsy Wishlist

I was browsing through My Favorites on Etsy and thought I'd share some of the beautiful items that I've found there.

This is by far my absolute, ABSOLUTE, favorite item on Etsy. It's from Untamed Menagerie and although I love everything they make (and I do mean everything, Marie Antoinette is most def my favorite. If my sister doesn't end up getting this for me for Christmas, I'm buying it myself (as soon as it comes back in stock)!

Winter Berry Necklace and matching earrings from Looking Glass Jewels.

Fleur de lis and sword earrings from Joey and Rocky.

Shall We Dance silhouette cameo pendant (so romantic and sooooo Victorian!) and Decision Maker Necklace from The Mymble's Daughter.

A Creme de Creme ring for the snob in me from Bella Lili.

Crown Earrings for my inner princess, from spicychocolate.

Okay, so I like jewelry. A lot. But there are tons more stuff on the website, such as:

Cloche hats! This lovely one is from Liza Rietz.

Posters! The "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster you see everywhere on Apartment Therapy, and another Marie Antoinette-inspired item from Blu Lima. And look, they're having a sale! Which color should I go for...

Artsy, handscreened t-shirts! I love Ahpeele's designs.

Of course, there's much, much more but these are just some of my favorites.

A(nother) Wishlist in Photos

How's the holiday shopping going? Since I've only got 2 more to go on my list, I've been browsing around and expanding my own wishlist. I was going to do another Wishlist in Song but that was a lot of work and I just haven't the inspiration to do it again. Instead, I'll make do with photos and a some words instead.

Let's start with the ubiquitous NARS Orgasm blush. Who doesn't love that afterglow? Better yet, how about a Super Orgasm, or a Multiple Orgasm?.

Protect and Style, to go with my holy grail of hair stylers (even if it isn't in the hot pink).

Bliss Softening Socks, since I wear high heels everyday.

Bandolino "Moc-N-Go" Flats

iPod Touch, perhaps with my Christmas money?

Christian Louboutin's Anemone - only $141 here!

The Mini E! Need I say more? Here's more eco-friendly cuteness.

The Holy Grail of Hair Stylers

ghd. *insert angelic music* They make one of the most coveted hair stylers, if not THE most coveted, and I got my little mitts on one! For cheap. They normally run up into the $200's but I got mine for $60 from craigslist. Huzzah!

I had just blogged about it and now I have one. Too bad it's not the hot pink one but beggars can't be choosers and who can argue with $60? It glides through my hair beautifully, leaving it smooth, straight and shiny. I love it!

Christian Siriano + Payless = Bliss!

One of my favorite Project Runway contestants, Christian Siriano is fabulous. That stands to reason that whatever he designs also will be fabulous, which just makes the news of him getting together with Payless Shoes that much more awesome. *happy sigh* I love designer collaborations.

He's signed a contract to design a range of handbags and shoes exclusively for Payless, due out next Autumn. I can't wait!

H&M for the Home!

Ooh, lookee: H&M, one of my favorite stores, is introducing a home collection! It's already taken over half of my closet (the other half has been claimed by Express) and now it's set to expand into the rest of my house. According to their press release, it's coming out February 2009 in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. I can only hope they'll bring it stateside (if only to NYC/SF/LA).

Turkey Day was Fantastic

Thanksgiving was a great day. It was a little odd this year, as Mom was in Taiwan visiting family, but we did quite well if I do say so myself. Thank goodness (pun intended!) for Safeway and their Turkey Dinners: for $40, we got a hefty (whole) turkey (10-12 lbs), close to a half gallon of mashed potatoes and another half gallon of stuffing, lots of gravy and cranberry sauce, a pumpkin pie AND dinner rolls. Phew! All we had to do was heat up everything, make the green bean casserole and dinner was served!

Then we spent the rest of the day cleaning and playing video games. And going back for seconds. :)
